Today Mrs. Garbers & her Culinary students taught a recipe & cooking methods of a Hmong dish to Mrs. Gudahlβs Midwestern Literature students, who have been studying the Hmong culture class this month. The students loved this opportunity for cross-curricular collaboration!

Today in Introduction to Transportation, our students are learning about welding and its importance in the transportation industry. For many of these students it is there first-time welding. They did an awesome job and will have the next three days to learn basic skills.

Adam Wohlhuter, senior student, was named a Rotary Student of the Week. Adam is the son of Jay & Tamra Wohlhuter. Adam's post graduate plan is to attend PineTechnical College and study gunsmithing and machining.
Senior student Anika Haugen was named a Rotary Student of the Week.
Anika is the daughter of Brad & Tara Haugen. Following graduation, Anika will be attending Augustana University to obtain a degree in elementary education.
