Public Schools Week is a reminder that education is not just about schools—it’s about people.
Public education represents opportunity and the shared belief that every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and succeed.
It is made possible by the dedication of our teachers and staff, who inspire students daily. It’s also thanks to our families and caregivers who champion their children’s education.
Thank you for continuing to support the success of Fairmont Area Schools, our students, and our community.❤️

Fairmont High School orchestra students Cadence Montgomery, Liz Hart, Norah Heille, and Gabbie Thoeny performed in Dorian Orchestra Festival in Decorah, IA. They spent two days refining music with a large group of students from all over the Midwest, worked with college professors in lessons and sectionals, and performed a concert at the end of the festival.
