Fourteen Fairmont speakers traveled to Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park on Saturday, April 25, to compete at the Class A State Speech Championship, bringing home an impressive third-place finish with 33 points, marking the team's third consecutive year in this position. The team's performance was highlighted by three individual state champions and three additional finalists who placed in the top eight.

Senior Belinda Lutterman claimed the State Champion title in Extemporaneous Speaking
Junior Allie Streit claimed the State Champion title in Informative Speaking
Junior Leon Yang claimed the State Champion title in Humorous Interpretation
