Mrs. Garbers and her Culinary II and III students were able to attend the Schwan's Culinary Skills Competition at Southwest State in Marshall this week.

Menu Design was one of the competitions. Ashley Muller and Kaydah Werner's design took 2nd place, while Ash Maday came in 3rd

Knife Skills was also one of the competitions. Camerin King took 3rd place. Congratulations to everyone that competed.
Besides various competitions there were breakout sessions where students were able to learn new skills. The sessions included: Smoked Pizzas, Hmong Stir Fry, Hog Butchery, Slushee Science, French Beignets and a variety of other culinary related topics. It appears Smoked Pizza was a favorite.
