Melissa Curry - Special Education Teacher
About Me:
Hello! My name is Melissa Curry, and I’m a Special Education teacher at Fairmont Elementary School. I earned both my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Special Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I’ve been dedicated to teaching since 2007 and have loved every step of the journey.
Working in special education is a true passion of mine. I value the opportunity to get to know each student as an individual—helping them grow, discover their strengths, and embrace what makes them unique.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Caleb, and our three children—Kierra, Willie, and Zachary. We stay busy with school activities, sports, and enjoying time together as a family.
I’m proud to be part of the Fairmont school system and look forward to another great year of learning and growth!
