About Me:

Mr. Benschoter graduated from Fairmont High School. He studied and completed both a bachelor's and a master's at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

In his free time Mr. Benschoter enjoys exercising, reading, and cooking.

Class overview Spanish 1:

In Spanish 1 students will work begin work on the fundamentals of reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to greetings, School environment, family, parts of a house, and food.

Students should expect to read, write, and present information in Spanish. The only way to learn Spanish is through Spanish input. This means that students should come to class with the intent to listen and read with the intent to understand.

Class overview Spanish 2

In Spanish 2 students will refine the fundamentals of reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to weather and natural disasters, sports, celebrations and holidays, travel and the environment.

Students should expect to read, write, and present information in Spanish. The only way to learn Spanish is through Spanish input. This means that students should come to class with the intent to listen and read with the intent to understand.
